A man in South Miami allegedly killed his wife, then posted the horrific photo on Facebook today. CBS Miami reports that 31-year-old Derek Medina posted the image of a woman who has been identified as Jennifer Alfonso, his wife of a year, covered in blood, “bent over backwards at the knees with her head in the corner of what appears to be a kitchen.”The image also came with this confession:
“I’m going to prison or death sentence for killing my wife love you guys miss you guys take care Facebook people you will see me in the news” my wife was punching me and I am not going to stand anymore with the abuse so I did what I did I hope you understand me.”According to CBS Miami, Medina turned himself in this morning, telling police that he shot his wife following a domestic dispute. Authorities add that there was a 10-year-old girl at the home at the time of the alleged murder.
Although Medina has turned himself in, the alleged photo of his wife’s body has not been removed from Facebook.
